Are child only options available on the Marketplace?

Yes. You can purchase a plan for only a dependent through the Marketplace. This could be due to having employer-sponsored coverage that does not cover dependents, having Medicare, or simply not wanting to cover yourself.

For what ever reason, the guardian is required to be the plan’s owner, but during enrollment you can select to only having the dependent as seeking coverage.
